My Little Angels

Whew! It has been a tough week with all the Church wedding preparations going on. We have four days to go and we still have a looooooong checklist to finish. I have no idea what happened. We were all set two weeks ago. I guess there are just some things that are out of our control.

Anyway- let’s not dwell on the negative. Let’s just say that although the wedding has drained us, we are still looking forward to it! Besides, it’s a celebration of love (always remember this soon-to-be-weds!)–it’s not a test of how grand and perfect a wedding we can prepare. 🙂

Daddy A and I are very lucky because in the midst of all the stress and pressure, we have The Minis. They can be difficult sometimes, but we are thankful to have them around. They have this way of getting our full attention and allowing us to escape from all the stress we are going through even for just a few hours.

quotes about childhood

I actually broke down yesterday. I had this really bad tummy ache, my head felt like it was about to explode, I needed to handle a few issues with some of our suppliers and the kids were all over the place. So I started to cry.

Guess what the kids did? They stopped throwing things all over the room, they both went to me and hugged me. The Princess even massaged my tummy! We laid on the bed quietly and all fell asleep a few minutes later. It was the most refreshing, relaxing and reassuring feeling. Having the kids beside me felt like God stroking my hair gently and telling me to slow down because everything will be okay.

Thank you, my little angels.
