Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp

Standing atop the Sierra Mountain Range is Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp. One of the more popular resort-hotels in Tanay, Rizal, Ten Cents to Heaven does not disappoint. Indeed, if you’re looking for a vacation that will take your mind away from the busy city, this is a place you need to try.

Tanay Rizal resorts for families

Tagaytay is widely known as the go-to destination if you want to cool down Baguio-style without having to take a long drive. However, since Tagaytay is popular already, it tends to get crowded – especially on weekends.

And so we searched for an alternative and we discovered Ten Cents to Heaven in Tanay, Rizal. Unlike Tagaytay, the drive to Ten Cents to Heaven is less stressful and more picturesque. There are not a lot of people heading to Tanay compared to Tagaytay so there is no traffic. Most of the roads have been widened already, making the drive safe. You can even stop every now and then to take photos of the scenic Sierra Madre mountains.

Once you enter Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp, you will be greeted by a cool wind and a vast area of greens. The front office is at the right, just after the guard house. It’s best if you go there with a reservation so that everything is set once you arrive. Also, there are not a lot of rooms and cabins available so if you happen to go on a busy day, then you might not have anywhere to stay.

Upon check-in, the front desk office will explain everything to you. The leisure camp is quite big so make sure you keep the map they give you with you. Attached to the map is your receipt, as well as your wifi voucher and breakfast coupons.

Accommodation

For our accommodation, we chose a room in the Glass House. If you’re staying with kids, I think this is the best option since the rooms here are very spacious and they have airconditioning.

The other options, such as the Wood HouseCabanas, and Tents do not have airconditioning. If your kids are okay with a fan, though, then these options are okay.

Once you’re settled, you can start exploring the camp.

Activities You Can Try In Ten Cents To Heaven

Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp has many activities available. However, take note that these are at an extra cost. If you want to try them all, I suggest that you grab the package they offer as this is the cheaper option versus having to pay for the activities individually.

The activities/amenities include:

We weren’t able to try all activities since we had little ones with us, but we did try the ones that allowed the kids to join, like swimming at the pool, obstacle course, crossing the hanging bridge, paint ball firing, and spa.

Dining

Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp doesn’t allow guests to bring food with them. However, there is the Camp Cafe within the premises where guests can dine from to . Take note that the last orders are taken by so make sure you give them your orders if you wish to dine a bit later.

There are also snacks and drinks available at the front office. Water, however, is complimentary. I wasn’t able to check all accommodations, but at the Glass House, there is a water dispenser in the living room where you can get refills.
