Cupcakes by Sonja Opens New Doors for a Sweet Cause

Last October 24, I attended the opening of Cupcakes by Sonja’s newest and biggest branch at the East Wing of Shangri-La Plaza Mall. This quiet and spacious branch is definitely a perfect place to hang out and enjoy your favorite cuppies! The Shangri-La Plaza Mall branch is also big enough to accommodate family gatherings and corporate events.

Anne Gonzales, Cupcakes by Sonja partner, said:

With Serendra as its original home and new branches in Glorietta and Power Plant Mall, Cupcakes by Sonja opens its latest and biggest store to date at the new wing of Shangri-La Plaza Mall. Apart from offering our delicious desserts to walk in customers, it will also be the hub for customized dessert orders in the area.

So it’s spacious, it’s comfy and it’s welcoming. But, what I love most about this new branch is that it is kid-friendly, too. While parents can talk, kids can hang out at the kids’ area where they can read books, do some coloring or draw.

To celebrate the opening of its fourth branch, Cupcakes by Sonja announced a special partnership with Move.org. The joint advocacy aims to raise funds in the next three months for the construction of a kitchen needed for Move.org’s feeding program through the #sweetcause campaign.

How can you support this #sweetcause?

Get ready for this sweet tooths! Cupcakes by Sonja whipped up yet another delicious product called cake cups. There are three flavors available: Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Praline (Daddy A’s pick), Tres Leches with Strawberry (The Little Man’s favorite) and Coffee Caramel Biscoff Crunch (I died and went to heaven after having a cup of this–all my favorite flavors in one cake cup!).

5% of the cake cup sales will go to the construction of Move.org’s kitchen. As a bonus, customers will receive adorable cupcake pencils for a minimum purchase of cake cups.
