Pan Grilled Salmon in Lemon Butter Sauce

Grilled Salmon

It’s been a while since Arjay let his mad chef skills out. He has been very busy lately, which is why we haven’t been doing lots of fancy dishes for our meals. Plus, we’ve always thought that Salmon Steak is super expensive—you know, because they are sold for a thousand bucks in restaurants.

Then yesterday, as we were shopping for our meals for the week, we chanced upon the pinkest of Salmon steaks in the market. It looked so delicious so we decided to buy it. 😀 If you’re wondering, for three steaks, it only costed us around three hundred bucks. Mind you, one steak is filling enough already! Anyway. We agreed that after an extremely busy week, we deserve to have a really good meal to cap it off. And so we bought ourselves some Salmon for dinner.

Our recipe of choice: Pan Grilled Salmon in Lemon Butter Sauce. I have to say, hands down, this one tops all of Daddy A’s yummy creations! Want to give it a try to? Here’s what you need:

Start by seasoning your Salmon Steak with salt and pepper. Add a bit of olive oil on your grill then grill your Salmon Steak for three minutes each side.

Once your Salmon Steak is all set, put it aside then heat another pan for the Lemon Butter Sauce. First add the olive oil. Stir it for about thirty seconds then add the white wine and lemon juice. Stir it again then let it simmer for a minute or two.

Add the onions, garlic, parsley, and butter to the mixture. Stir it again then let it simmer for about two minutes. Voila! You’re done. Set your grilled Salmon on a plate then pour the lemon butter sauce over it. Preparing Grilled Salmon for dinner is surprisingly easy, right?!

If you aren’t too hungry yet, you can even plate your Grilled Salmon in Lemon Butter Sauce like so:

You can eat it as is or make it a Filipino meal by eating it with steamed rice. 😀 Whichever you prefer, I assure you that it will be equally scrumptious. Looking for more recipes like this one? You can find similar recipes and kitchen products at our friends at the Village Bakery.
