Get hooked on DIY with 3M Philippines and Good Housekeeping

When we moved to our new place, Arjay and I immediately got busy trying to make the house feel like home. We bought furniture and appliances, mounted our TV and drilled a couple of hanging shelves on the living room wall. After that, we stopped. As much as we want to put up photos of our family on our walls, we didn’t because that would mean drilling more holes – which is something we want to avoid since we are just renting.

3M Philippines and Good Housekeeping Shares Smart Home Improvement Tips at the Get Hooked On DIY Event

Fret not, homemaker! You can decorate and organize your home without drilling holes on your walls! They have hooks and hangers of all sorts that will not damage your walls, will hold strongly and can work on pretty much any surface.

At the Get Hooked On DIY event by Good Housekeeping in partnership with 3M Philippines, brand ambassadors Coni Tejada, home improvement expert, and celebrity parents Cheska and Doug Kramer all shared practical home improvement and organization tips. There were also booths, games and freebies for everyone who attended the event.

This is my entry for the #3MGHDIY photo contest:

The hooks and hangers are not just for accessories and photo frames. You can also use these hooks to hang your basket of cleaning products for easier access and a more organized look. It is also possible to use these to hang your curtain pole (but be sure to check the weight capacity of the hook!).
