3 Things I Make Sure I Give My Kids

Admit it. As parents, we want to give our children the world. That’s why we work so hard, right? But after seven years of being parents, my husband and I realized that we can’t give the world to our minis, but we make sure we give them three things that will equip them as they go into the world on their own.

Quality Education

If there’s something my parents taught me, one of the most precious things a parent can give to her child is not money and properties, but quality education. Coming from a middle class family, my parents don’t have big stretches of land or overflowing bank accounts to give. But, what they gave me is quality education. You can lose all your money and properties, but no one can take away your education.

Now that I’m older and have my own family, I appreciate what they did. I mean, my husband and I started off with nothing. As in nada. But because we were equipped with quality education, we were able to survive through the toughest times and eventually rose up.

I want to give the same to my kids. We work hard so we can send them to good schools and extra classes they enjoy.

Quality Time

What’s all the money in the world if we don’t spend time with our kids, right? Aside from providing for their basic needs, my husband and I make sure that we spend time with our children—and we make sure that the time we spend with them is quality time.

We have very busy schedules. My husband being a firefighter and me an entrepreneur. Despite our work though, we give our children the time they need and we do so fully present. Remember that, fellow parents: spend time with them AND be fully present when you do.

Quality Health Care

Of course, for our children to fully enjoy life, they have to be healthy too. I make sure I give my kids quality health care by feeding them healthy food, bringing them to their routine check-ups, and providing them quality vitamins like FERN-C kidz.

There are a lot of choices in the market. But moms, tandaan na silipin ang C! Always check the quality of the Vitamin C that you give your child! I chose FERN-C kidz because it helps improve immunity, has non-acidic Vitamin C, and has a Quali-C seal that ensures quality.

I agree with those three things we should give our kids. Money is important but not as important as quality time. Children will appreciate it more if we spend time with them playing or just talking about how their day was in school, etc. Thanks for sharing.
