As an Online Business Manager, I’m always on the lookout for tools that I can use that will help my business processes become more streamlined. I always aim for a hassle-free process for myself and a luxury vibe for my clients as they go through the client journey I set.
Now, I’m not the kind who’d buy all the tools that are hot in the market. I’m very intentional with what I use, which is why I really take the time to figure out what I need in my business and explore the tools available to ensure that whatever I get really fills the gaps – not just add to the clutter.
One of my favorites is Dubsado. Onboarding clients used to be super time-consuming for me.
This is what my process used to look like: After the discovery call, I would prepare our contract and send it via a fillable PDF form. Once the client signs, they email it back to me and I sign it too. An invoice is sent to them to settle the agreed amount. Upon payment, I then create a project for the client in Asana, our project management tool. The work starts there.
The process I used to have was okay at first. However, when my client base started growing as I also grew my team, it has become difficult to stay on top of the contracts and invoices.
Sure, I can just outsource it to one of my team members. But, I always prefer to automate first before I decide to delegate.
So, when I discovered Dubsado, it was love at first sight!

From Dubsado, I get to just send my clients to one page where they can view their contract, sign it, then pay the bill. Everything is one place; everything is automated!
My clients loved the whole process too because it is much easier than exchanging emails and files.
I have yet to explore the Scheduling feature, but Dubsado also has an option to schedule appointments for you, which is AH-MAZING because that means I can add the process of Strategy Call bookings to my Dubsado workflow.
