It was in 2009 when I started working from home. I was a college student then and had lots of time in my hands. I was never a party-goer so I spent time studying, typing away posts on my blog in a coffee shop in Katipunan (hence, my blog Coffee With Kim), going on long drives and working from my laptop. I continued my freelance career until after I graduated, when A and I got married and now that I am a mother of two. It’s just something that fits our lifestyle perfectly since we are always on the move.
Recently, however, I’ve been getting so stressed about my work at home career — mainly because now I have two attention-seeking toddlers, a home away from my parents and no house help. My schedule is all over the place and work is piling up.
So, when I saw the poster of Manila Workshop’s WAHMderful Year-Starter, I knew I had to be part of it!
Manila Workshops, in collaboration with WAHMderful Life and Insular Life, brings to us 2014’s first workshop for work at home moms. The WAHMderful Year-Starter will be held at Insular Life Makati Multi-Purpose Hall on 18 January 2014 from 10AM to 4PM. Participants of the workshop will learn more about time management for moms, eliminating WAHM stress and getting more clients in 2014.
The speakers for the event is Martine De Luna and Teresa Dumadag. Learn more about the workshop here.
