June was an exciting month for our family.
This is the month when we finally moved to a new town — far from everyone we know. It was a hard move, but we knew it was for Daddy A’s career growth and for our family’s own growth as well.
The kids have been very cooperative throughout out our transition period. And we are super thankful to them! Imagine, of all the months to leave, June just had to be the month that our nanny chose to leave. But, we don’t have control over other people so we let her go.
Daddy A wasn’t the only one who got a break.
I remember mentioning in one blog post that I am planning to start working away from home because we needed extra income. I always say that God is amazing… because He truly is. This move left us at a shaky financial situation, but He provided. It was in June that I landed a huge contract. Now, I don’t need to work away from home! This new contract will require me to travel once in a while, but compared to leaving the kids every day to work, I’d go for this.
Oh, and June was the month that our new family member arrived. Not too long ago, I lost my best animal buddy and first baby, Fergie. I was a bit anxious about getting another puppy, but when Hector arrived, he turned everything around.
This pup is just two months old, but he has already been showing his loyalty and care for us. He watches over the kids, accompanies us when we do errands outside the house and provides our home security when we are not around.
So, those are last month’s highlights.
It was a pretty good month, don’t you think? How was yours?
